Chips risks

For example, a recent study suggests that girls who consume chips between the ages of 3 and 5 years old, risk breast cancer at maturity, as an American study realized by Women’s Hospital form Boston and Harvard Medical School.

The study also reveals that the risk of breast cancer is 27% higher for women who consumed in their childhood chips.
"Researchers are finding more evidence that diet early in life could play a role in the development of diseases in women later in life," said Dr Karin Michels. "This study provides additional evidence that breast cancer may originate during the early phases of a woman's life and that eating habits during that phase may be particularly important to reduce future risk of breast cancer."

For this study the team analyzed the food habits of 582 women with breast cancer and other 1569 healthy women. The results took into account the questionnaires completed by mothers who participated in the study regarding the early feeding of girls in their first years of life. Dr. Karin Michaels says that the precision of the relation between chips and breast cancer is based totally upon the correctness of the data offered by the participants and their recollection about their daughters eating habits. The high calorie regime has been related before to breast cancer, which affects annually more than 200.000 women in the USA alone.
